It’s Here! Exquisite Weddings Magazine!

Run! Yes, you heard us run to your local Barnes & Noble, Target,  or CVS! Or just go here, to pick up the current Fall issue of Exquisite Weddings Magazine! Why you might ask!? Because a little while back we were honored to work with some truly amazing vendors (a few you may have heard us gab about) to create one gem of a tablescape for one of our favorite wedding magazines! We had a blast working on this shoot and think you will have just as much fun when you read about all the details in this issue

Ok, we just couldn’t resist including a little sneak peek to whet your appetite just a bit! Stay tuned though cause you may be seeing some  more from this shoot next week….

We can’t thank these vendors enough for making this tablescape really shine!

What we are favoring…

Hello Beau’s! Yes, we are back! We want to apologize for our little lull in posts this last week, Beau & Arrow was recuperating from three weeks of wonderful jammed packed wedding weekends. Now that we are back in action, we thought we would share a few favors that we are favoring for our couples these days. Our rule of thumb when it comes to wedding favors is that we usually like to keep it edible, that is not to say that there aren’t some amazing favors that are not edible. We find that guests are more inclined to make sure they grab their favors when they are delicious treats they can save for a midnight snack! Here are three edible favors we are finding adorable as well as yummy

Hugs & Kisses Whoopie pies – box of 12 for $38

I love you very very very much chocolate bar – One bar $5.00

You can find out how to make these olive you favors Here!

Whats the best favor you’ve ever snagged from a wedding??

The Big Day: Jessica & Nick

Thrilled that today is wedding day would be an understatement!! Our real bride blogger Jessica is getting married and it is a very special wedding for us!! Seems like just yesterday she and Nick got engaged. We’ve been there throughout the entire process and are so elated to see this day come to fruition and to share some sneak peeks behind their beachside celebration.

Jess & Nick love blues & greens, the colors of the ocean. Inspired by beach glass the whole color palette is made up of refreshing & calming shades (seafoam, mint, turquoise) with touches of white and silver. There are some definite nods to Nick’s favorite past time, surfing, and to the places Jess & Nick have traveled together. We didn’t forget about where they each came from though, so there will also be some fun elements that represent their roots. That’s all we can share now, but stay glued to our twitter and instagram and we’re sure you’ll see some more goodies!

Congrats Jess & Nick! We’re so excited for you to start this part of your lives together!!

Fall Florals

Hello indeed! We are beyond thrilled to say hello to all things fall; Hot apple cider, scarves, everything pumpkin infused, really whats not to love! Ok, maybe we are jumping the gun just a little here, since it did just drop below 85 two days ago in San diego. But what is most exciting about fall is the new season of beautiful flowers that it brings. Dahlia’s, Anemone’s, Orange ranunculus, and wheat are some of our favorite additions to fall floral arrangements. We have included a few of this seasons floral favorite’s below to help you all get in the fall mood…

Loving the harvest feel of these arrangements, wouldn’t mind seeing one of these beauties on my thanksgiving table!

Adding a deep rich color such as burgundy or brown, can help transform neutral flowers into a fall arrangement.

Deep purples and burnt orange help to create these stunning autumn inspired creations.

Monday Morning Mix: Going to the Chapel

We have a very special wedding that we’re working on this week and are excited and proud to be able to play such a huge part in this couple’s big day. Our real bride blogger, Jessica is getting married on Friday and you can bet we have every single detail thought of– even the getting ready playlist! Below is just a fraction of the songs we’ve got cued for the dolling up process….

A good getting ready playlist should have songs that are significant to the couple, some up beat and light hearted songs to keep the mood fun, and of course a few oldies for the MOB because this is a very special day for her as well!

Tell us in the comments what songs you have to have on your wedding day playlist!

Friday Feature: Amy Clarke Makeup

Bursting at the seams about today’s Friday Feature!! We’re your typical girls who love make up, so it’s no wonder that we have an obsession with make up artist Amy Clarke! Amy’s been working her magic on faces for 12 years and she sure knows how to make you look your best for the big day! The proof is in the pudding (or should we say powder!?)- take a look for yourself at the wonderful work she does!

Simply gorgeous and flawless! Photos above by Hugh Forte.

Do the two above look familiar to you!? Perhaps it’s because it’s amazing husband & wife duo Candice & Geoff of Lunch Pail Pictures!

Amy also does amazing make up for engagements! Check out how stunning she made the bride above look! Photos by Logan Cole.

Yup, we stalk her Facebook & instagram for awesome before & afters like these! Kind of addicting to see the beautiful transformations. You might see some familiar faces popping up on there soon!

So glad that we got the chance to work with Amy in Palm Springs last week and can’t wait for our real bride blogger, Jessica to also get dolled up by the one & only Amy Clarke next weekend!! Do your face a favor and book Amy as your make up artist too!

Snapshot Love: Jenni & Jeff

Brace yourselves for one of the cutest couples we’ve ever met! Jenni & Jeff are out of this world sweet and so it was very fitting that we met them for the first time at the ultimate sweet shop, Bottega Louie. They have the cutest style (seriously looks like they stepped out of a Madewell catalog) so it’s not surprising that they picked one of Palm Spring’s newest hotels for their May nuptials, Alcazar. It will be the perfect backdrop for their stylish whimsical & nature inspired wedding!

This is heaven- gorgeous ring & a delicious s’more!!

Great style runs in the family–Jenni’s mama shot all of the pics! Congrats again you two-we’re  so excited to be a part of the wedding!!
