It’s that time of year again when it seems like you are attending a wedding every single weekend! We know how you feel hehe. With that being said we know it becomes an endless task to find a fun, cute, summer outfit to wear to the numerous weddings that make up wedding season. One of our favorite things is when guests step up their outfits and really dress their best for these special summer occasions. I thought I would lend you lovely ladies a hand with a few dresses and styles that I would just love to see at some of our weddings.
You really can’t go wrong with pastel in the summertime, I just love how light and airy it looks but while still looking elegant and not like a beach cover up. Pair one of these dresses with a nude heel and your ready to strut your stuff down the aisle, well after the ceremony is over of course.
Patterns are always great to add a dash of fun to any wedding. Im especially loving the geometric and ikat type patterns for this summer, like the three dresses you can see above. How could you not have fun and party the night away in one of these stunning dresses.
Lace is a great go to for a summer wedding its light, simple and stunning, it can be dressed up or dressed down. I just love how lace always gives a more romantic soft feel to everything and what more could you want from a wedding ensemble than soft and romantic.

So, it seems that I have succumbed to the phenomenon that is fifty shades of grey, I never thought that I would ever partake in this book fad. But I admit that my curiosity got the best of me and I just had to see what all of this hoopla was about. I am currently embarking on the second book of the trilogy and felt the need to give this seriously dysfunctional relationship a stunning imaginary wedding. Throw in a few parts dark, a little bit of sexy and a whole lota shades of grey and you get one intoxicating wedding…

We’re rushing off to Karen & Brandon’s ceremony rehearsal today in Santa Monica and can not believe their big day is already tomorrow! Can’t wait to share more details of their wedding, but today we simply could not resist posting these two cuties’ engagements!!
Seriously, how beautiful are all of these images captured by the lovely Suzanne of She Wanders!? Sooo incredibly dreamy! She is going to have a hay day with all of the amazing places to shoot at Leo Carrillo for C & J’s August wedding!
Doesn’t Candice look so gorgeous and glowing in all of these shots!? She had the lovely team of Brides by Brittany for make-up and June Parayno of Ballyhoo Salon for hair to doll her up. Can’t wait to see how beautiful she will look on the big day!
Are you as smitten with these adorable paper garlands and signs as we are? They were crafted by the bride’s good friend, Courtney of Brightly Designed. The wedding is going to have tons more of her paper goodness!
Wow-each image captures how totally head over heels they are about each other! Their wedding will definitely be filled with lots of love and amazing details. Thanks again to She Wanders for sharing these beauties!

Don’t you just love it when you get lost in a song and it takes you to another place? Louis Armstrong’s version of La Vie En Rose does it for me every time. Put it on and it’s like waking up in dream world of romantical pink goodness.
Abandoned grandiose ballrooms, champers flowing, an over abundance of roses spilling out of each corner, and of course every last detail is in the prettiest of pinks. Would die to see this wedding come to life, but with a touch of Tim Walker whimsy thrown in for good measure….

We have been seeing so many gorgeous bridal looks lately and thought it would be fun to pull together some head to toe inspiration for all types of bridal beauties out there! So let us know which one are you; the princess or perhaps the untraditionalist!?
The Princess: Over the top elegance with a dramtic gown and a touch of sparkle…
The Modernist: Sleek and chic come to mind with this pairing of stark white & silver.
The Romantic: Flowy chiffon, swaths of lace, & heavenly feathers for a light as air look.
The Boho Beauty: Rings on her fingers and flowers in her hair for the bohemian bride.
The Classic: Crisp & clean best describes this timeless look. Don’t forget the peonies!
The Untraditionalist: And anything goes for this rule breaker.

I absolutely love when you can take an everyday object and turn it into a beautiful piece of art. Here at B & A we are constantly pulling inspiration from any and all things around us from books, umbrella’s, even film. Not only does it make beautiful and fun decor for your wedding but it helps out the environment as well. Its also always so fun to hear all of the funny things guests say when they realize what things are actually created out of. I thought today I would share some of my favorite everyday objects transformed into some amazing wedding decor…
