Maya is beyond creative. She described her vision for the big day as being inspired by Syrah Wine Parlor in San Diego! Perfect inspiration if you ask us. We simply can not wait for their whimsical wedding day!

It’s Friday, Friday gotta get down on Friday… Ok just kidding, but we are beyond happy its friday that we are doing a little happy dance and song in the office. We are especially thrilled because today marks one week until we are off to New York City, so we thought we would share with you our follow up friday feature of the Dior suite at the St. Regis New york. With views of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street, the Dior Suite is a one-bedroom suite which was inspired by the house’s Parisian ateliers. The design includes their signature pale gray color, beautiful moldings, and French furniture found in Dior stores worldwide as well as framed Christian Dior sketches which hang in the living room. Have to admit, I’m not quite ready for full blown summer weather yet and don’t mind these gloomy beach days. They can be beautiful and relaxing in their own right. I created this black, white, and blush board while listening to Lykke Li’s version of Unchained Melody and was inspired by a dark and moody beach wedding setting- not your typical bash at the beach. Have a listen to Lykke’s take bel0w- it’s hauntingly gorgeous- and enjoy this not quite summer weather!

For anyone that knows me they know that I am just a little bit obsessed with anything Paris (ok maybe more then just a little). Of course when you take Paris, add in a breath taking wedding and a phenomenal videographer you get me crying every time I watch this film. Videographer Jason Magbanua really captures every single genuine and important moment of each wedding he shoots, Jason says that his style of shooting is not directing events or moments but rather waiting for them to unfold naturally, I just love that! I highly recommend you all take a little time and watch this amazing film, I know its ten minutes but I promise once you watch, it feels like it was over so fast and leaves you wanting more. I will be shocked if each of you does not get the chills while watching this exquisite Paris wedding of Stephanie and Chis, I hope you enjoy…

Today’s friday feature is a two part feature that we will conclude next friday. Since I have a upcoming trip to New york at the end of the month (I’m so excited! ek!), I can’t seem to get the big apple off of my mind. In my search of new and fun things to do well in New York I came across one of the most decadent hotel suites I have ever seen. Designed for the St. Regis in conjunction with Design Director Emeritus of Tiffany & Co. with John Loring, the Tiffany Suite is 1,700 square feet in size and features subtle neutral colors with the signature Tiffany blue as an accent color throughout the suite. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be getting my Holly Golightly moment anytime soon with the room costing a mire $8,500 a night, I think my room at the Hudson will be just fine…
I would love to have that piece of jewelry art hanging on my wall!
I’d feel like I was in one of those beautiful tiffany blue boxes in this room.
