We are beyond excited for this weekends Luce Loft wedding in Downtown San diego for the happy couple Alison & Shaun! This couple had our hearts when they told us their color palette of pale pink, nudes, white and dove gray. These stunning colors helped to soften and luxe up the unbelievable industrial loft space that they chose for their venue. We absolutely adore Alison & Shaun’s design style of a little bit of modern mixed with subtile elegance but not in a stuffy way! Take a look below for some snippets you may see at their actual big day!
Not only are we beyond thrilled for this happy couple to get married and for the beautiful design elements, we cant wait to work with some of our favorite vendors again on this wedding. Luce loft will help to set the parties fun and funky ton and get the guests oohing and awing! Of course there will be no short supply of stunning Root75 flowers all around the venue, we just cant get enough of those ladies. To add to the fun guests will be served out of the awesome curiocity food truck and drink the night away with cocktails by Kevin’s bartending. All of the stunning photo’s will be captured by the one and only Logan Cole who can’t take a bad photo if he tried and even his iPhone instagram photo’s are better than any photo we could ever take with a couple thousand dollar camera. Awesome tunes will be supplied by the always amazing injoy entertainment. And last but certainly not least Poetry booth will have guests snapping fun photo’s all night long!

With wedding season in full gear, we unfortunately got just a tad bit behind on our Big Day posts. That being said, this past weekend’s wedding was one that could not be missed! The beyond darling couple, Kelsey & Stephen, were married on Saturday in a sweet ceremony in Rancho Santa Fe, with the reception and party following just a few more windy turns down the road. The stunning couple wanted to create a romantic springtime affair for all of their friends and family to enjoy. As you can see below that’s just what we did with this dreamy peach, mint, and cream color palette that is soft, simple, and sophisticated.
Fortunately for us we got to work along some of our most favorite vendors! No party can begin without the perfect ”location, location, location.” Well, this wedding definitely wasn’t lacking in that department with the amazing Santaluz Club as the backdrop. Of course to beautify the stunning draped tent we had to enlist the lovely and talented ladies of Root75 to help make this board a reality. We also would never be able to share with you all the day’s events, decor, couple, and family without the remarkable photography work of the husband and wife duo Chadwick and Jenika of Studio Castillero. And last, but certainly not least, the affair would not have also been a non-stop dance party, if it wasn’t for the amazing DJ team of Injoy entertainment who supplied tons of fun and tunes. Thank you to everyone who made this amazing couple’s wedding a dream come true!

You’ll be seeing a lot of these posts in the upcoming weeks, but boy are we excited to share all about the weddings we’re working on! Most of these we’ve been planning for many many months, however every once and a while a dream wedding rolls around that makes you say “sure, we can plan that in less than two months.” Best decision we made- Raqel and Madison are sweeter than apple pie and are the coolest kids you will meet.
They selected Marvimon House as their wedding venue for it’s charming quirkiness & quickly formulated an amazing color palette based off of their favorite colors, which also happened to be existing throughout the space. The day will include inky blues, lush greens, cinnamon and coffee accents with beautiful blush pinks. Both being huge flower lovers, you can bet we’re going to hang a garland wherever we can. Can’t wait to see what those crafty Root 75 gals come up with! We’re also excited to be working with LaMill for a fun coffee bar to nod at their first date. If there’s coffee…count us in!

It’s Friday and we are grinning ear to ear. That’s what happens when we’re en route to Palm Springs. That’s also what happens when we’re headed into a fun-filled weekend for a RAD wedding. Alana & Tyler are that dream couple that you hope you get to work with and they are of course very very rad. Need some proof? Here’s some goodies we’re incorporating into their big day on Saturday: disco balls. polaroid escort cards. a record wall. a pie bar. fake mustaches. Yup, we’re still grinning.
If you couldn’t tell, these two are music lovers. From their record wedding invitations to their band poster table names, this shared love for rock n roll will be weaved throughout their whole day. The cherry on the tippy top of this musical sundae is The Flashdance. Couldn’t think of anyone better to rock out this wedding! Yup, still smiling. Can’t wait for tomorrow and to be working with the lovely Root 75, Honey Honey, Amy Clarke, Lady Dianna, Yeah Rentals, and Son of Sharkpig on this killer Ace Wedding. We were over the moon excited when Candice reached out to us last year about helping coordinate her & John’s August Leo Carrillo wedding. Her very dear pal and one of our faves Courtney of Brightly Designed was helping her out with all of the details, so we immediately agreed to step in the last few weeks before the wedding and on the actual big day to take the reins and make sure everything went off without a hitch! By far one of the breeziest and most fun weddings of the summer. Who could complain when you get to work with Brightly Designed, She Wanders, and Root 75!? C & J’s wedding is in the current issue of Exquisite Weddings, but also on the Bride Suite blog today! Check out those links & the lovely photos below!
Wowza! Candice is already a stunner, but Brides by Brittany highlighted her features perfectly and really let her gorgeousness shine through on the big day!
Seriously, we have a ton of photos of everyone smiling & giggling through out the whole day, as it should be. NON-STOP BLAST!
For the ceremony decor, a mix of horseshoes with pretty patterned hearts and mason jars filled with flowers and flags that read John loves Candice/Candice loves John hung from the chairs down the aisle. Ashley & Courtney from Brightly Designed also crafted a stunning paper flower backdrop for the ceremony that fit perfectly with the theme and into Leo Carrillo!
Ummm how adorbs are the navy dresses paired with cowboy boots and statement necklaces!? Cute, quirky, and classic all at the same time!
During cocktail hour, brightly colored vases, vintage cigar boxes, & old fashioned liquor bottles adorned the tables to set the mood on the patio for “Hurley’s Pub.”
Mini glass beer boots were used for the escort card display. Guests were asked, “If you’re a pair find your boot to share. If you’re single use yours to mingle.” Too fun!
One of our favorite moments of the night was when the bridal party made their grand entrance. After everyone was announced they stopped by the bartender, who had shots waiting for them, where they all raised their glasses before going bottom’s up! Way to get the party started!
The peacocks were out in full force for the wedding- as seen above! The Brightly Designed gals repurposed C+J’s cute rsvp postcards and strung them with ribbon and hearts to make a killer sweetheart table backdrop for the couple. Gathered vintage items were used as table number holders which were an eclectic mix of wooden numbers and paper printed numbers.
In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, the couple and their guests got their sweet fix with a bundt wedding cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and donuts from VG Bakery. Mmmm! Our kind of desserts!
The guests had a blast drinking & dancing into the night! Congratulations & thanks again to Candice & John for letting us be a part of your special day. HUGE thank-you to two other love birds, Suzanne & Mike from Shewanders for capturing every detail so perfectly, being so fun to work with, and sharing these lovely images!

The best way to describe today’s snapshot love couple is pretty freaking adorable! We are sure you will agree when you take a glimpse at the stunning photos captured below. Kelsey and Stephen met and fell in love while in collage and have been inseparable ever since. There are some couples who seem to light up around each other and just make it all look easy, as you can see these two are one of those couples. Not only are Kelsey & Stephen super amazing but they got to spend the day being captured by another pretty rad couple, Chadwick & Jenika of Studio Castillero. We are seriously counting down the days not only until this amazing wedding, but to get to hang out with these talented photographers!
